Report a User

If another person breaks the rules, use the in-product Report and Block controls first. This page explains when and how to use them.

Fastest action

During a conversation, open Chat Actions and choose Report. If you do not want further interaction, use Block and leave the chat.

Immediate danger?Online reporting is not an emergency response. Contact local emergency services or a trusted person if you are in immediate physical danger.

When should I report?

  • harassment or repeated unwanted contact;
  • threats, intimidation or blackmail;
  • scams, fraud or requests for money;
  • impersonation or deceptive behaviour;
  • sharing private information without permission;
  • sexual exploitation or inappropriate sexual conduct;
  • spam, abusive automation or other serious rule violations.

What makes a report useful?

Choose the closest reasonSelect the category that best describes the behaviour.
Add context when requestedBriefly explain what happened. Avoid sending your own PIN, OTP or financial information.
Block if neededBlocking can help stop unwanted interaction while the safety system handles the report.

What happens next?

Reports are stored for moderation and safety handling. Depending on the issue, the service may review relevant information and take an appropriate action under its rules. Do not assume that every report results in a specific punishment or response time.

False or retaliatory reports

Do not use reports to retaliate against someone simply because you disagree with them. Submit clear, good-faith safety reports.
