Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies and browser-side storage used by the current Stranger Talk application and what those technologies are for.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a website in your browser. Similar browser technologies, such as local storage, can also remember information on your device. They are not the same thing, but both can help a web application function.
2. What Stranger Talk currently uses
3. Why these technologies are used
- to maintain a secure application session;
- to recognise the current device and restore the intended flow;
- to remember limited product state needed for navigation and onboarding;
- to support core functionality.
4. Analytics and advertising
The current application configuration does not identify a dedicated third-party analytics or advertising provider. If analytics, advertising pixels or other non-essential tracking are added later, this policy and any required consent mechanism should be updated before those technologies are used.
5. Managing browser storage
You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing them may sign you out, remove local onboarding state or affect features that depend on the current device identifier.
6. Privacy
Cookies are only one part of the data picture. Read the Privacy Policy for information about profiles, sessions, messages, community content, reports, activity and deletion.
7. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when browser technologies, vendors, consent requirements or product behaviour changes.
