1. Find a room
Browse public groups by topic and see how many people are in each one.
One-on-one chat is great, but sometimes you want a room full of people arguing about whose bias has the best era. Pick a public group, say hi, and you're part of the conversation. No login, no phone number.

Hit Join and you're in. Scroll up to catch what people were talking about.
Jump in whenever you want. Lurking is allowed too.
Every group has its own link you can share on WhatsApp, Instagram or anywhere.
In a random chat it's just you and one person, so if they go quiet, the chat dies. A group chat keeps moving even when you don't type. That makes it easier if you're shy: read for a bit, get a feel for the room, then reply when something catches your eye. On the flip side, it's busier, so if you want a proper long talk with one person, random or private chat is still the better pick.
Right now most public rooms are K-pop fan groups. ARMY, BLINK, ONCE and STAY each have a main group, and almost every member has their own fan room too, from Jimin and Jungkook to Lisa, Nayeon and Felix. People drop in to share news, theories and favourite songs. Check out BTS chat, BLACKPINK chat, TWICE chat and Stray Kids chat, or head to the Fandom Hub. Not a K-pop person? Start a room for your own thing, whether that's cricket, exam prep or late-night talk.
Can't find the room you want? Make it. Give it a name, a short description and a few rules. You can keep it public so anyone can find it, or private so only people with your invite code can get in. Public groups go through a quick review first. It keeps the list free of spam and fake rooms, which is better for everyone, including you.
Groups are 18+ and the usual rules apply: be decent, no spam, no sharing other people's personal details. If someone's being a pain, block and report them from the member list. And like anywhere online, don't post your phone number, address or anything you'd regret in a room full of strangers. More in our community guidelines.

Someone's probably talking about your favourite thing right now.
