What bias means

Bias = your favourite member. If Jungkook is your favourite member of BTS, Jungkook is your bias. The word comes from English "bias": you're biased towards one member.

There's no rule for choosing. Voice, dance, rap, personality or stage presence: whatever draws you in is enough.

Bias wrecker

Your bias wrecker is the member you like almost as much as your bias, so much that they "wreck" your choice. Fans joke "my bias got wrecked" when they switch.

How to choose your bias

  1. Listen to 3–4 popular songs and watch their live stages.
  2. Learn the members' names and roles (vocal, rap, dance).
  3. Watch variety shows or behind-the-scenes clips; personality shows there.
  4. Don't rush. Your bias usually becomes obvious on its own.
